It's that time of year again, dropping temperatures and lower humidity dry out our skin, often leaving it dry and flaky. Here are some top tips to help you combat winter dry skin!
- Drink MORE Water than usual (enough said).
- Internally hydrate by eating plenty of healthy fats (good sources include avocado, salmon, walnuts, flaxseeds & whole grains)
- Moisturize with unscented, oil based, and apply daily. Make sure you apply specifically after showering, when you should be using lukewarm water as opposed to hot water which will further dry out skin.
- Use a humidifier to help replace the lost moisture in the air.
