Are You Getting All These Chia Benefits?
Chia has some awesome benefits. You may not be aware of all of them. Here are a few of the benefits of chia:
1. They are rich in fiber, protein, omega-3, vitamins & minerals
2. They help improve skin and reduce effects of aging
3. They aid in digestion.
4. They help treat diabetes!
5. They deliver energy and faster metabolism.
A couple of my favorite ways to incorporate them into my day are the following:
- Sprinkling over yogurt
- Adding them to a smoothie or water for more hydration and protein
- Grind them up and bake with them
- Use them in vegan recipes as the "egg"
- Use them as a crust for baked fish or chicken along with other spices!
